Our foundation has joined the campaign supporting the Ukrainian Armed Forces — a campaign run by many volunteer organizations both inside Ukraine and around the world.

These efforts have largely covered the essentials: food, body armor, helmets, uniforms. But body armor alone does not win a war. Modern small arms, armor, reconnaissance, and other military equipment are needed.

Why this works

Ukraine retained and developed a powerful military-industrial complex (MIC) that long worked primarily for Russia. According to information collected by WUBEF volunteers, Ukraine today produces military equipment that competes successfully on global markets against brand-name manufacturers — tanks, armored personnel carriers, infantry fighting vehicles, military transport aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, precision artillery, and much more.

By supporting this work, we accomplish two things at once: we help equip the Armed Forces, and we sustain Ukraine’s MIC — which has been heavily affected by the end of cooperation with Russia.
